Online Therapist for Anxiety

Do you find that you’re at a loss if you have nothing to worry about? Anxiety is a state of constantly being preoccupied with or actually mentally living in the future. It can take the form of a generalized anxiety where racing thoughts could be about all aspects of your life, or it could be specific to performance, or social situations, or relationships, or your body, and the list goes on.

The reason for anxiety could range from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex post-traumatic stress disorder (CPTSD) or ingrained beliefs that you are not enough, will not be enough and are not equipped to deal with life on your own.

How we can help

In therapy, our aim will be two-fold. First, to help you talk about and experience/release feelings and emotions you may be bottling up and experiencing as panic attacks. Second, to self-soothe with grounding techniques, breathing exercises and movement when you feel panic taking over your body.

This way, you will be able to start feeling more capable and in-charge of your present moment, thus allowing you to stay in the now than constantly worrying about the future.

And while you are working through these deeper issues with me, you will be able to start feeling better by emotionally self-regulating even when you start to feel anxious or on the verge of a panic attack.
